Women's Wellness Workshops

Please join the Junior League of Pasadena every Sunday in January for an opportunity to take part in our Women’s Wellness Workshops. This series of workshops is designed to set you up for a healthy and successful 2021. With a virtual platform, you can discover new paths to self-care from the comfort of your own home.

On January 10th, join us for a 1.5 hour Breathwork session! Breathwork is an active breathing meditation that allows you to connect with your heart and spirit. It is a conscious three-step circular breathing technique that activates the parasympathetic nervous system putting your body in a relaxed state. During your Breathwork session, Natalie uses music and guided meditation to help you go deep into your healing journey. Some of the amazing benefits that individuals experience is a positive shift in their energy, reducing their stress levels, as well as, gaining mental and emotional clarity. Some additional benefits of Breathwork include: healing trauma, grief, improving sleep patterns, feeling more energetic, and feeling more empowered.

On January 17th, please join us for a one-hour plant-based cooking class! Are you curious about a plant-based diet but have no idea where to start? Then this class is for you my friend! Please join us for a 1 hour beginner-friendly plant-based virtual masterclass led by NASM Certified Personal Trainer & Nutritionist, D’Lena Ochoa, as she lays out the foundation of a plant-based diet.

The Junior League of Pasadena will be hosting a different virtual event every Sunday in January as part of our Women’s Wellness Workshops. Interested in exploring your creative side? Join us for our Getting Creative workshop on January 24th. This workshop will not only be beneficial for your mental and emotional wellbeing, but will provide you with an opportunity to have some fun at home. We will focus on doing creative exercises that promote self-awareness and internal exploration.

Order In with the JLP

Join the Junior League of Pasadena as we partner with local restaurants for special giveback days. When you “Order In With The JLP” not only do you support local restaurants in our community, but a portion of sales from your meal goes to support the important programs of the League. We encourage you to enjoy your meal knowing you are helping both our community and League!
