Partner With Us

For over 90 years, the Junior League of Pasadena (JLP) has worked tirelessly to improve communities, develop the potential of women and promote voluntarism. To do so, JLP partners with community organizations for which it can provide trained volunteers. The JLP has worked with the community to determine existing needs and initiate long term projects that are financially sustainable. These are defined as Community Impact projects for the League. It is our intent to identify and define the next Community Impact project for the JLP through a request for proposal. JLP seeks to hear what the pressing needs are in the San Gabriel Valley and what program may be put in place in order to address a particular need.

The Junior League of Pasadena also partakes in short term projects that are “Done-In-A-Day” (DIAD). For each “Done-In-A-Day” project, a group of Junior League members assist a local non-profit organization through hands on volunteer work. A DIAD project allows both the JLP and the partnering agency to test the relationship for compatibility. Upon successful completion of a DIAD project, the League may consider developing a more in-depth partnership opportunity with the participating agency.

We are looking to others in the San Gabriel Valley to submit their ideas and projects so that we can work together to build a better community. Projects are selected which further the mission of the JLP and are focused on areas pertaining to our JLP mission and vision statements.
